The short version

Money Scenarios stores the numbers you type — balances, incomes, ages, a filing status — and nothing that says who you are. There is no account, no email address, and no password: the form has no field for a name, and the saved plan has nowhere to put one. There is nothing to pay, so no card and no email is ever collected. The assistant, when you use it, sends your question and the headline figures of a projection to DeepSeek; the planner itself sends nothing anywhere. Nothing you enter is used to train any model.

What is stored, and where

  • On your device. The planner autosaves your draft in this browser so a refresh does not lose it. “Start over” clears it.
  • A plan link. If you ask for one, the same draft is saved on our server under a long random address. Anyone with the link can open and edit that plan; nothing else identifies it, and losing the link means losing the saved plan. The link is never written to our logs.
  • Projections. Each time you run the planner, the inputs and the resulting year-by-year figures are kept for a short while so the page can tell you when a result has changed under an unchanged plan.
  • Published pages. Only if you choose to publish a projection. What becomes public is the scenario and its results — never the household record behind them — and a published page is permanent by design.

How long

A plan link is kept for 365 days after you last open it. Projections and their inputs are kept for 30 days. Deleting a plan link yourself takes effect immediately. Backups of the server are kept for 30 days, so a deleted record can persist in a backup for up to that long.

The assistant

When you type a question to the assistant, that text and the headline figures of your projection are sent to DeepSeek to be turned into a scenario or a plain-language reading of the result. The raw household is not sent, and the model never computes a number — every figure comes from our own arithmetic. If you never use the assistant, nothing leaves the planner. The assistant can be switched off for a whole deployment without affecting the planner.

Measuring the site

The site records how visitors arrive — the page, the campaign tags on the link, and the referring site — so we can tell which channels bring people. It does not record who you are, set advertising cookies, or share this with anyone. Server logs hold the request path, status and timing, with plan links masked.

Deleting your data

Delete a plan link from the planner page and it is gone at once. Clear this browser to remove the local draft. For anything else, write to [email protected].
